Photoshop not sidplay pictures

I just bought a new dell 17r laptop which has the Nvidia gt 630M graphics processor as well as the Intel HD4000 Graphics processor and it's a core i7 with 8 gb ram.  When both the HD4000 and gt 630M are enabled and I try to pull up an image with photoshop cc, I cannot see it (see screenshot below).  Also, things in the photoshop window get a little garbled (see second screenshot below).  If I go into the device manager and disable the HD4000 driver, everything works.  But...  When I try to access the nvidia control panel, it tells me "You're currently not using a display that's attached to an nvidia GPU" and I can no longer adjust the brightness of my screen using the keys on the keyboard.  Can someone help me with this issue?
