My co-worker (using CS6) opened a file on her Mac she had previously worked on to edit some text -- and whatever text she "touched" was suddenly converted to a very pixelated version of that font.
Opening a new file and entering text - pixelated.
(No problem in Illustrator or other apps.)
She asked me to open a copy on my Mac of the file (I use Creative Cloud), and as soon as I touched any text, I too got that result -- and also with any new file I created.
Went to a third Mac, that had CS 5.5, and opened the file -- same result on that file, but new files seemed unaffected.
We restarted PS, rebooted, followed the "clear cache" steps in http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-fonts-photoshop-cs5.h tml, but we can still not do ANYTHING with text on the old file or any new one -- it all comes out as very pixelated.
We have both used PS probably 3-4 hours a day since the MacroMedia days, never saw this sort of issue.
How do we fix this?
