Probably more complicated than it needs to be:
I know that I can install my LR4 upgrade directly to my new Macbook Air and that it will just ask me for the serial number from LR3 without LR3 installed on the new computer. (http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2013/06/lightroom-5-hot-issues .html)
Is it the same with CS6? Can I just plug in the serial number from CS3?
If, instead of installing from the disc (so old fashioned, I know!), I migrate it over through a clone external drive of my old computer (that I still want to use), do I have to migrate over both CS3 and CS6?
Also, can I suspend activation of CS6 on the old computer (and just use CS3 if I need to do something less complex) and use it on the new one?
