In 14.1, when adusting shapes created with the rectangle tool (file was created with the previous version of Photoshop CC), I get the 'live shape will be converted to regular mask' warning. This did not happen with the old version.
But a new rectangle shape created in 14.1 does not give this error when moving two points on the same plane.
Odd.
