Sliders will NOT Separate in "Blend If" when double clicked
Have used photoshop almost daily for around 20 years.
Double click works in all other software
Working on photo last night with no problems
12 working layers with blend if and separated sliders on 11.
I shut down computer in middle of the editing to get some sleep.
Windows 7 Updated when restarted today.
Opened same photo with 11 layers which use blend if with separated sliders which still work as normal
Added new layer
Blend if sliders will not separate on new layer.
Restarted computer
Opened new photo
Created a new layer from background
Blend if sliders do NOT separate.
Restarted computer and same problem
I work with wacom tablet
Disconnected tablet
Restarted computer
Installed mouse
Restarted computer
Same problem
Same problem on laptop touchpad
I can copy the layers which work correctly on the image to create new layers with working sliders.
I just cannot start any new layer and have blend if sliders which work
Problem probably with windows update but Adobe needs to get this working

Scaling 1920x1080 image for large printing
Hello,
I have a customer who wishes to print an image of the side of a Transit Van, no measurements have been given but for the sake of this thread let’s say the printing area is 5m x 7m.
They’re wanting to put an image on the side that is 1920x1080 at 96dpi,
I wish to advise them on potential problems they may encounter but i also don't want to misinform them so I want to be sure my information is correct before passing it onto the customer, as I'm not used to printing large images and usually deal with vectors which is much more easier when scaling.
please pick me up if I’m incorrect;
“I’ve attached a large collection of images for you to choose from – I’d keep in mind that when printing on to something as large as a vehicle that Pixels and DPI play a key part in the overall quality of the print,
For example the images that you’d sent to me have a dpi (Dots per inch) of 96 which literally means 96 ink dots per inch,
when printing on a4 paper 72 dpi is fine but when scaling up to a large vehicle, 72 or even 96 would be much more visible – your images should have 300dpi (This is dependent on the actual size you’re wanting to go to print with, I’m assuming large 4m+, keeping the aspect ratio)
Also, you’re limited to how many pixels the image has when created, 1920x1080, for example, will still have 1920x1080 pixel no matter how large you scale it, the sum is always 1920x1080 = 2073600 pixels even if you scaled it to 4m x aspect ratio,
so it will look good from afar, but far from good up close.
It’s worth speaking with the printing company before committing to any designs as they will have a much better understanding.”

Photoshop snapping to edge of document whenever I use any tool
Whenever I try to use the hand tool it just snaps to the space above the document. Now it's happening with every tool, like if I go to use the paintbrush it snaps to the top of the document. It's impossible to get any work done and is super frustrating. I've tried restarting my computer and installing new updates but nothing is making it stopped. I checked to make sure I don't have the snap tool set to anything and I didn't. Does anyone know what's going on?
Edit: I am using a cintiq and the problem seems to only be happening when I use the cintiq, I need to use it though

Cropping out plants in a complex picture
Hello, my name is Fletcher!
I have been trying to cut out Liriope (the green grassy plant with purple bloom) out of this picture. I have been trying to use the channels and level adjustments to contrast the Liriope with the gravel, but I'm just not getting anywhere. I've watched a lot of videos on cropping in Photoshop, but the tutorials are usually for hair with a very simple background. As you can see, the picture I am dealing with is very busy.
If you have any tips or ideas, I would appreciate it. Thank you!

Brush download
Adobe does not recognize my subscription!
I subscribe to Photoshop/Lightroom and have a "Single app" subscription to Acrobat DC but I when I try to download additional assets from Adobe Creative Cloud, my subscriptions is not recognized.
Adobe wants me to upgrade my subscription again!! How do I fix this problem?

Problems with Tools in Photoshop
I honestly didn't know what to search to find a solution to my problem. No matter what brush I have selected, it comes out pixelated like I'm using the pencil tool. It started off with only doing that occasionally, and just having trouble picking up my surface pen in general, but now it only draws pixel-y at a very laggy rate. I don't know if this is a windows problem or a photoshop problem? Any ideas? And just after I fixed the problem that dumb windows update caused. :/
Update: Here's what it looks like. It only seems to be pixelated around the edges,. Any ideas?

Trying to move object to specified location with mouse click [Locked Dupe Thread]
Hi! I'm trying to move a layer to a specific location. Right now the way I see it would be to:
- free transform the layer (ctrl+t)
- Double-clic set horizontal position of reference point (I would like to clic instead of entering a value by hand)
- Double-clic set vertical position of reference point (I would like to clic instead of entering a value by hand)
- enter
I would like to know if there is already a script out there that exist, or something similar that I could use to make that script..

Problem with Masks
When I paint with black, brush set to 100%, the image is masked completely as expected.
But when I switch to white at 100%, only a percentage of the image is unmasked, no matter how many times I paint the area.
I think this issue is something I am inducing inadvertently with a keystroke, since if I reset Preferences, the issue resolves

Big Masking Project and Issues
My friend wants me to get rid of the background of this dog, and add a dark blue color. I've used so many masking techniques and it seems like nothing will work well. I even make a PERFECT mask with the pen tool but still looked horrible because I'd either get a giant halo ring or lose too many details on the finer hairs on the edge. Any suggestions on how to mask this correctly?
Even when I edit the image to see the edge of the dog better the masking never turns out well enough. This will end up being a 9 foot print out so I can't have any imperfections.

document windows block photshop interface
hi there,
document windows block the adobe photoshop cc interface. if i use keyboard shortcuts to enlarge the panel then it snaps to available workspace. but if i move the document window (to get to a window behind for example) that document sits on top of the adobe photoshop interface and blocks whatever its sitting on top of including the menu, the layers panel and the tools panel.
never seen this before - am i missing a setting somewhere?
latest version of photoshop cc on windows 10.

Can't get CS3 to download and work with CC2018 after apparent update
Update wiped out my CS3. I now can't even link jpeg and png files to Photoshop. I also had CC2018 on my computer but I like and need to be able to switch to CS 3. I did follow instructions to get a new ID no. and downloaded new CS3 files (photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) but get error message those programs failed to download. HELP. I can't even upload png and jpeg files nor associate them to CC2018 in Control Panel.
Also, is there ANYWAY to contact a support person at Adobe? This is ridiculous. I have spent all day on this problem with no solution.

Hola, cuando intento abrir el programa me dice que no se puede porque "los discos de memoria virtual están llenos". Tengo un macbook (soy nueva en este tipo de computadores) pero no se donde se encuentran estos discos de memoria virtual ni como puedo vaciarlos. Por favor, si alguien sabe que hacer o ha pasado por esto, ayúdenme :C

MacOS High Sierra 10.13 Command Key Shortcuts Not Working
Hello! I just recently had to replace my computer with a new Macbook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2015). Of course this meant I had to re-install Photoshop. I couldn't find my CS6 installation disk so I used the version on the Adobe website. However, now when I try and use Photoshop the Keyboard Shortcuts no longer work. My keyboard and the shortcut work fine in all other apps. I have tried every single workaround listed on the Adobe Support page, including updating all the apps, safemode, plugin, ect. I have a Wacom Tablet but I have not installed the drivers for it since rebooting my Mac. I had this same problem after my old computer required a data wipe two years ago which was solved by updating the Photoshop App (lol), but this time around since I downloaded it from Adobe I have the most up-to-date version so...I am truly stumped.
Oddly enough, for a moment after I tried the "delete preferences" workaround for about the third time, the shortcut keys appeared to return, only to disappear again the moment I clicked a different button. I have not been able to replicate this.
Also I had the Creative Cloud version of PS downloaded as a trial last week, and that worked perfectly fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as Photoshop is a huge part of my daily life and, as it is, it is barely useable. :/

Camera Raw images take a long time to open in Photoshop CC 2018
I am finding that when I select multiple images in the filmstrip on Camera Raw and click Open Images, it is taking around 30 seconds for each image to open in Photoshop CC 2018. I have the latest version from Creative Cloud installed.
I have an i7-8700k with 32GB of memory, a GTX 1080 ti, and multiple Samsung 960 Pro SSDs. Interestingly enough, I did not have this problem in my last machine build which was an i7 4790k, 16GB of memory, a GTX 1080 ti, and the Samsung 960 Pro SSDs. With that build, the same process would take around 5 seconds per image to open.
The images themselves are 8 bit, 3992 x 2992, 11.9MP at 300ppi. Roughly 24MB per image. My machine should have no trouble opening these up from Camera Raw quickly. Any ideas?
