I just recently had my computer cleaned up, de-bugged, etc.  When I got it back and tried using Photoshop CS 8.0, I got this message:

"Your computer's configuration appears to have changed since the last time this product was activate.  To continue using product, please click OK to activate again."

That link took me to an activation box.  Only when I try the automated activation, it does not work and I do not get an activation code.  The telephone activation number provided doesn't work, and has a message saying it no longer does telephone activation and refers me to the website.  When I tried an Adobe help chat, I was told the activation count for the product is shut down and was referred to this forum.

When I asked if there was a phone number I could call for help, I was told no.

This is VERY frustrating!

I've searched high and low for a number of years, but to no avail...

 

How do I set the default image window to "Fit in view" rather than the default 100%?

 

I'd also like to hide the tip "Use File > Extract Assets..." at the top of the dialogue box.  I've clicked the rather prescriptive "Learn More" button, learnt more and don't need to learn any more.  It goes without saying, although I am doing, that I don't need to see this every time I Save To Web!

I've retried applying several times without success. How to I fix this? (Win 7)

 

Here's the exact error I get when I click retry to update PS CC (2014):

 

"Update Failed

Download Error. Press retry again or contact customer support.(49)"

I will try to be as clear as possible :-) I'm working on Windows 7 with Photoshop CS5. I use tabs for my news files and not full screen. On Windows you have the possibility to go back on the desktop with a clic on the button. But when you go back to Photoshop you have to click on each tab (from the task bar) to open thems again. Is there a way to open all the tabs in one click ?

In Layer Style -> Pattern Overlay previous Photoshop versions (i.e. CS5) you could hover over the thumbnail and you would get a tooltip appearing that showed you the original image file dimensions. I need this feature back! Is there any way to get it back?

Hi there, everytime I open Photoshop CC 2014 It keeps on showing a message box saying Photoshop CC 2014 has Stopped working, I click the down arrow to see the information and this is what it says:

Hello! I have som troubles with my CS6 after I upgraded to Yosemite. When Im working on a picture I can't change the size on my bruch or go back in history. I can't even change color when I'm painting in an mask without clicking on the layer. It is like the quick commands is sat out of funktion. It makes me furious. Can some one help me to fix it. I have tried everything. Thank You!

had to re-load PS CS5 and now Adobe Raw  original version, will not open NRW files. Tried to download updated versions of RAw and they say "not available" but are listed in the update  screens

After drive failure, I decided to install photoshopcc on my home pc.

when I try to start it, I get the message "already installed on 2 devices"

I need to remove it from one of those devices.

It's not obvious how to do this.

i cant have photoshop because i  have windows vista, what do i need to do to get the requirements i need for photoshop

 

 

Also i dont know if its due to the same reason but creative cloud won't download, i will press the link on the web page then go to my downloads and click on that and nothing happens

I want to install the latest photoshop version, so I wanted to uninstall Photoshop CS6 (I have Windows 7). but when i tried it said that i couldn't uninstall it, so I installed Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool for uninstalling Photoshop, but it doesn't work!! This program says that it uninstalled photoshop CS&, but i still can use it.

the problem is that photoshop CS6 uses 2,9Gb of space and i can't uninstall it!!

 

Please help!!

I have used PS CS 6 since it was published but had to lay off in 9/2013 because of a severe head injury. When I tried to restart it I was asked to uninstall and reinstall the application which i have done several times . When trying to rinstall it I ended up with Error 16. I went on the chat line and followed the instruction given by the chat person.I followed all the steps but still  was unable to open the app. Got the message that the server was unavailable. I tried phone activation which also was not available. I received a message with seriaal no and acttivation number. I tried that combination and got the massage that activation failed. The serial number i was given differed from the one  listed on my registration. What else can I do.?
