Photoshop CC 2014/Portuguese crashes right after it opens
I installed Photoshop CC 2014/Portuguese on my noteebook Sony Vaio Core i5/2.5GHz/6Gb RAM/64bit OS/Windows 8 Pro/NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE, and right after I open it, it shows the following message: "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 stopped working. A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and will notify you if there is an available solution." I have searched for solutions and have already done thee hints showed on this forum with no success:https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1499775. So I come here to ask for help because nothing has made it work. Thank you!

imac thumbnails are an hourglass.
I recently bought my first mac and was unhappy with iphoto so I purchased and installed Elements and Premiere 13. I have yet to use Premiere 13 but Elements 13 worked great and then a few weeks ago my new imports from cameras and phones had an hourglass for a thumbnail, the older pictures still have a thumbnail. I have looked through this forum and have been unable to locate thumbs.cache anywhere on the computer. I have sent Elements 13 to the trash and reinstalled it but my catalog is already there when I launch the program. I found an uninstall for Elements and uninstalled the program, the catalog was still there after launching the program.
Any ideas? I am still a Mac novice so any instructions may need to be dumbed down a bit...

I keep getting a message when I open photoshop that says "Could not load actions because an unexpected of-of-file was encountered" and I am not sure how to fix this
Anyone else get this message and know how to fix it?

5K Retina Display for Web Dev
I'm looking for a Mac user with the new 5K Retina Display Monitor to do a test Web Page test on how a graphic appears ? The image I'm using is basically 4K max in size I may have upscale the image unless someone else knows some other tricks because if an Image is suppose to be 2x or 3x and the maximum the image is, is 4K you have to fill in the gaps. I'm afraid too much upscaling and everything will turn sour on Retina Display Not sure how 4K/5K images look on a PC, what I do know is on a PC a 2x or 3x image isn't required, as far as I'm aware !

Hello, I have signed up for this product under teacher/student edition and it is supposed to let me use Photoshop CC. It worked before but now it just says my serial code isnt valid for Adobe Photoshop CC 2014. What do I do?

Why is my quick selection tool so slow in making selections after I installed the new update? It used to be a lot faster before the update.
I installed the new update and the first thing I noticed is that my quick selection tool is soooooo much slower now. I will take the positive circle through the area I want selected, and no matter if i try a small area or a large area, it will have to stop and "think" (or show the processing icon that spins). If i do a small area, it will only show for a little while, but if i try and do an entire person or so some refine edging, it takes forever! I can seriously go make me something to eat and drink like a sandwich and tea, and it will still be trying to finish up when i get back if i make a larger selection like a persons upper body (when i say large area, i don't mean like the entire picture either, i just mean a persons torso and upper body that doesn't take up alot of space on the actual image) . This is really killing my workflow and work time. Please help!!

Exporting to Flickr from Bridge CS6 Fail
I'm trying to export photos from Bridge CS6 to my Flickr.com account for the first time in several months, and getting an error message from Bridge that it cannot "authenticate with Flickr". I've used presets that were successful in the past, as well as going through the usual routine to get new authentication codes from Flickr.com. I recently updated my iMac to OSX 10.x, but visiting Flickr's community site suggests that they adopted a new API that was sent to developers like Adobe and that Adobe has not updated their export protocol. Other contributors to the site suggest that Adobe's position is that Flickr needs to do something. Are others experiencing this problem? Does Adobe offer no solutions to this problem?
Any advice would be appreciated.

600 dpi scan not sharp at all
I've been attempting to scan a few of my large oil paintings on an Epson All-in-one scanner (WF-7520) and the results aren't that great (see image below). The size of the painting is about 24 x 36 inches so I was planning on scanning them in pieces. I thought maybe the painting wasn't flat against the glass enough so I weighed it down to make sure it was absolutely flush against the glass--but still a low-res' quality scan--and somewhat dark as well. I set it as a 600 dpi TIFF with "Unsharp mask" turned off. Is there anything else I'm missing here? Earlier this year I scanned one of my paintings at the same settings and you could zoom in and see the most miniscule fibers and dust particles. So the scanner is definitely capable of an extremely high-quality scans. And other high-res images view perfectly on Photoshop so it's not like my monitor needs calibrating.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Much thanks.

Shortcuts working on and off and can't update
My shortcuts are not working most of the time - I have to click inside the menu to get them to work again.
This really slows down my process, it's become quite dreadful to even make a simple drawing in PS.
Tried to update PS to hopefully fix the problem but I can't: My current version is CS6 13.0, I downloaded the 13.0.6 update, but it says it is not for me when I try to install it.
When I try to update PS from within the program, the Application Manager says all products are up to date.
In the Application Manager preferences only adobe extension manager is shown - I already removed the App Manager cache (also cleared my trash bin to be sure), but I got the same result.

Photomerge in Photoshop breaking picture into 3 sections
I am using a trial copy of Photoshop and have been trying to make a panorama of 53 JPEGs varying in size from 5000 KB to 9000 KB. The photos that are stitched look great. However, the panorama is broken up into 3 sections.
Below is a screen shot--these are maps that I have created.
Canvas Size: What appears to be happening is that the merge program is not making a large enough canvas.
Image size. The original pictures are 300 dots per sq inch.

Camera Raw 8.7 in PS CC 2014 freezes my PC. Forces me to do a hard restart. Any solutions. I've already uninstalled and re-installed PS
After I launch Camera Raw to do additional retouching work the cursor/SW freezes. Only way out of the problem is to do a hard restart. It happens every time now. Using Windows 8.1. Any ideas and solutions? Thanks.

anyone have Lion and Photoshop CS5 issues?
I was using Photoshop CS successfully on my iMac (bought in 2008) until I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion and it stopped working. I installed CS5, and it doesn't work well at all; when I try to open and work on an 800 MB file it freezes and sticks and I get the spinning ball continuously. I am currently 4GB RAM. CS5 works great on my husband's computer and he has the same amount of Ram, and he is still using Snow Leopard. I also use Wacom Intuos 3 but the same thing happens with my mouse . I don't know what to do to improve the performance of CS5. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why does my objects 3D position change with the objects angle?
Hey everyone, I'm having a little bit of trouble with photoshop. I'm trying to create a simple animation of the word Hello spinning around the Y axis, but when I rotate JUST the angle, the position moves as well. As you can see in my screenshot, the angle is set to 90 degrees, and the position is also changes. All I did was type 90 into the angle box and hit enter. Why does the position keep moving? How can I make it stay in one spot and just rotate?
