Hi

 

I am new to Photoshop, and would like to for example open 2 or more images into Photoshop (ie: to replace a sky / do an hdr etc)

 

Q1) I am wondering whether, rather than go into Bridge, which I don't really want to bother with / learn, if I have photos from different Lightroom folders that

I want to 'edit in' Photoshop, could I instead set them up as a collection and then send them to photoshop from there?

 

Q2) If I 'save' after editing in Photoshop the image goes straight back to Lightroom  alongside my original, but if they're from different folders where would they go?

Would I have to click 'save as' rather than 'save', then choose a folder

 

Just one other question (or two!) - I'm wondering whether the various Nik software programs are that good / would they improve my photos. Also does Photoshop do a good enough job of

realistic HDR? (I can get along without the 'HDR look' for now at least) or would Nik HDR software or Photomatics also do a better realistic HDR that Photoshop?)

I am in the market for a 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display. I am trying to decide between a few different models. Is the NVIDIA 750M Graphics Processor going to make any difference in my life, positive or negative? I use InDesign and Photoshop quite a bit, I am starting to do more coding and am always meaning to get back into Dreamweaver and learn Muse. I only edit video once every couple years, and it's always pretty low-stakes when I do. Will Photoshop see any benefit from the discrete graphics processor? If not now, should I be planning on it benefitting in the next five years or so? Alternately, would switching between the two processors actually hinder Photoshop's performance?

I have sold my Photoshop Extended 3 CS. The Guideline on the Transfer of License Form does´t work since the steps shown on the form do not correspond to the website. How would I have to procede in order to mange the license transfer?

I want to use just part of a large image using "transform selection" and I want the final result to be a specific width.

 

Is there a way to do that?

I'm trying to cancel my year's membership to adobe photoshop and lightroom.

The contact page in which all the modes of contact are shown is useless because the icons such as the phone are not active - they are just pictures and there's not a phone number ofr direct customer care email address I can access.

So it seems Adobe is happy to take my money but not happy for me to contact them directly.

I want out.

I need a way to communicate that is reasonable and easy.

Can anyone help?

Estou com problemas... Meus arquivos são em RAW, com o máximo de qualidade, abro pelo Bridge CC e quando vou para o Photoshop a fotografia vem sem qualidade, muito granulada. Não consigo edita-la assim. Apenas quando a transformo em .JPG que volta a apresentar a qualidade real do arquivo. Alguém pode me ajudar? Já atualizei o software e nada.

I have downloaded Camera Raw and DNG Converter 8.7. DNG Converter works fine. Camera Raw 8.7 does not appear in Photoshop CS6 Camera Raw Processor, but opens as 8.4...How do I get 8.7 in Camera Raw/CS6, I also have Lightroom 5.7, but when I go back into Photoshop CS6 a warning says I must have 8.7 Camera Raw.....IS THERE A FIX?

I have used CS5 happily on my old computer for about two years but cannot find anywhere on the Adobe site where I might download something other than the Creative Cloud. I do not have nor want a CC membership. Where do I input my serial number so I can start using CS5 on my new computer.

I upgraded my iMac to Yosemite this evening and lost access to Photoshop CS5. Message says...To open “Adobe Photoshop CS5.app” you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime."

Tried installing Java etc and it failed.

I note some are suggesting an uninstall and reinstall but I purchased CS5 as a download and don't know how to retrieve it now!!

Because I can't open Photoshop I can't get my serial number etc.

I know my Adobe ID for LR4 but I must have had a different ID for CS5

Anyone know where I go from here.

Adobe chat 'dumped' me unto this forum!

Haven't found an answer to this yet. I have a mac os 10.7.5 running on a iMac 2.16 ghz intel core duo. 2014 was running for a while but the recent update won't start up. I have seen a post about updating the graphics card but there does not seem to be driver update for the ATI Radeon X1600 256 MB on their web site for macs. I've logged out and back into creative cloud and reset preferences in photoshop on start up. Nothing works. It boots up most of the way and just hangs. If I drop an image onto the photoshop icon, it boots up to the point of showing the image but hangs there. The only way out of it is to restart computer and it locks up everything. I was having the same problem with the new indesign but found the workaround for deleting the welcome folder and that did it for indesign. Any other ideas?

How do I add Nikon D750 to the CS6 Lens Correction filter's Camera Model list? (Windows 7 64Bit) I'm running ACR8.7. By default I get the adjustments for the correct lens but with a D3x body. Using the search online tool doesn't find anything.
